June was a busy month for the InTandem team as we hosted over 20 rides and trainings including two recent rides with some special guests. InTandem was proud to host The Rotary Club of New York for a Group Captain training. “We’re thrilled to welcome an organization that aligns so thoroughly with our mission of providing service to others and we’re so happy to welcome them as our newest community partner,” said InTandem Executive Director Michael Anderson. Several Rotarians had the opportunity to get trained as new Captains and we look forward to welcoming them to future rides!

The Rotarians were not our only special guests last month. InTandem had the pleasure of welcoming Erik Weihenmayer and his fiancee, Heather, to a recent ride. Erik is the first blind person to scale Mount Everest! Erik and Heather shared a few stories with the Stokers and Captains in attendance and joined for a few loops of the park. They plan to be regulars each time they are in town!
We look forward to welcoming even more newcomers in 2026!
